Also, a bill entitled, an Act to authorize and empower the
Trustees of the Union Church of Liberty Town, in Frederick
county, to convey certain church property in said town to
Thomas W. Wilson and others, Trustees of the Methodist
Protestant Church in said town, and to incorporate said
Trustees,

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on the Judiciary.

Also a bill entitled, an Act to empower Attwood Blunt, of
Baltimore county, State of Maryland, to construct a railroad
from the Quarry to the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad,

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Ford moved its reference to the Baltimore county dele-
gation.

On motion of Mr. Knott,

It was referred to the Committee on Internal Improve-
ments.

On motion of Mr. Shipley,
The bill was ordered to be printed.

Also a bill entitled, an Act requiring the Adjutant Gen-
eral to furnish arms for the use of Charlotte Hall School,

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Militia.

Also, a bill entitled, an Act to repeal the Act of 1860,
chapter 359, which incorporates the Baltimore and Little
Gunpowder Falls Turnpike Company, and to incorporate
intead thereof the Baltimore and Jerusalem Turnpike Com-
pany,

Which was read a first time and referred to Committee on
Internal Improvements.

Mr. Carmichael, Chairman of the Committee on the Judi-
ciary,' reported favorably, without amendment, the Senate
bill entitled, an Act to repeal the Act passed atJanuary ses-
sion 1865, chapter 114 entitled, an Act to repeal the 10th
section of Article eleven of the Code of Public General Laws
relating to the oaths of Attorneys and other practitioners of
law and to enact a substitute therefor, and to repeal the
10th section of the 11th Article of the Code oi Public General
Laws title "Attorneys at law and Attorneys in fact," sub-
title '"Attorneys at law," and to enact a section in lieu of
the said tenth section.

Also the bill entitled, an Act to repeal an act to authorize
and empower, the Commissioners appointed by the Circuit Court
of Queen Anne's county to divide the real estate of John
Hendrix, late of said county, deceased, to cpnvey to the pur-
