Ordered, That leave of absence be granted Dr. Phelps, to
visit his home upon important business.

On motion of Mr. Appleman,

Ordered, That the widow of the late H. G. Magraw, be
paid his per diem for this session.

On motion of Mr. Neilson,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Printing to report
a bill entitled, an Act to establish in the city of Annapolis a
State Printing office.

On motion of Mr. Jump,

Leave was granted to introduce a bill entitled, an Act to
incorporate Burns' Lodge No. 87 of Ancient Free and Ac-
cepted Mason of St. Michael's, Talbot county,

Which was referred to the Talbot and Dorchester county
delegations.

On motion of Mr Lankford,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means
to report a bill to appropriate a sum of money for the relief
of the Union Orphan's Asylums of the city of Baltimore.
On motion of Mr. Davis, of Charles,

Leave was granted to the Charles and 'Prince George's
delegations to introduce a bill to repeal sections two and
three of Article 36 of the Code of Public General Laws en-
titled, "Estrays and vessels adrift," and to re-enact the
game, with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Israel,

The rules being suspended,

The House took up for consideration the resolutions sub-
mitted by Mr. Israel authorizing the Governor to make ar-
rangements for removing the public buildings in Baltimore
city, said resolutions being upon a second reading.

The resolutions were then read a second time and passed by
