The bill entitled, an Act to regulate the carriage of bag-
gage by railroad companies and to prescribe the duties and
obligations of carriers and passengers in relation thereto;

Being upon its second reading,

Mr. King proposed the following amendment:

Section 2, strike out "two hundred and fifty," and insert
"five hundred,"

Pending the consideration of which,

Mr. King moved to strike out the enacting clause.
