real estate of John Hendrix, late of said county, deceased,
to convey to the purchaser the legal title to said lands, and
to re-enact the same, with amendments.

Also the bill entitled, an Act for the protection of the pub-
lic against medical impostors, and for the suppression of the
crime of unlawful abortion,

Which were severally read a first time and referred to the
Committee on the Judiciary.

Also, the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the town of
Princess Anne, in Somerset county, Maryland,

Which was read a first time and referred to the Somerset
delegation.

Also, the bill entitled, an an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners for Anne Arundel county to subscribe for the
capital stock for the Curtis' Creek Bridge Company.

Also, the bill entitled, an Act to authorize Thomas J.
White and others of Howard county to convey a house and
certain lands to Joseph Blew and others,

Which were severally read a first time and referred to
the Anne Arundel and Howard delegation.

Also, the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the town of
Poolesville, in Montgomery county,

Which was read a first time and referred to the Montgom-
ery delegation.

Also, returned the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the
Maryland Fertilizing and Manufacturing Company,

Also, the bill entitled, an Act to amend an Act entitled,
an Act to incorporate the Franklin Turnpike Road Company,
passed March 10, 1828, chapter 186, by providing for an in-
crease of tolls on said road.

Also, the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate Freedom.
Lodge No. 112 of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons.

The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate a company to make
a turnpike road from Elicott's City to Eleysville, in Howard
county ;

Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays with proposed amend-
ment."

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Amend section 15 by adding at the end thereof the fol-
lowing, viz : "And the General Assembly reserves the right
to change, amend, or repeal this Act at pleasure ;"

The amendment was concurred in, and the bill, as amend-
ed, passed by yeas and nays as follow :
