a bill entitled, an Act to repeal sections 91, 92, 93, 94 and
95 of Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws for Cecil
county, relating to fences ;

On motion of Mr. Neilson,

Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to re-
port a bill to Incorporate the Peoples Fire Insurance Com-
pany of Baltimore city.

On motion of Mr. Criswell,

Also, leave .was granted Garroll County delegation to re-
port a bill to allow Stephen R. Gore, Brice Shipley and Geo.
Plare, former collectors of taxes in Carroll county, farther
time to complete their collections.

On motion of Mr. Spicer,

Leave was granted the Committee on Education to intro-
duce a bill entitled, an Act to restore the State donation to
Belair and Cokesbury or Abingdon Academies.

On motion of Mr. Bishop,

Leave was granted the Committee on Internal Improve-
ments to report a bill incorporating the Hancock and Penn-
sylvania Railroad Company.

On motion of Mr. Bixler,

Leave was granted the Committee on Education to intro-
duce a bill regulating the appointment of School Commis-
sioners in the city of Baltimore.
On motion of Mr. Kerr,

Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to re-
port a bill to incorporate the Little Choptank and Nanticoke
Steam Navigation Company.

On motion of Mr. Clarke,

Leave was granted the Committed on Ways and Means to:
introduce a bill requiring the Commissioners of Public Works
to sell the State's interest in all the public works of the State,
except such as are reserved by the constitution, and to apply
the proceeds of such sales to the extinguishment of the State
debt.

On motion of Mr. Hall,

The House took up for consideration,

The bill entitled; an Act to amend sections 2 and 24 of the
Act of 1865, chapter 181, relating to oysters;

Which was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays
as follow:
