an Act of 1866, entitled, an Act to empower the County Com-
missioners of Queen Anne's county, to levy the sum of two
hundred and fifty dollars, on the taxable property of the
county to pay J. G, Strong, for copies of a map of said county,
which he is about to publish on the scale of one inch to the mile
and which said copies are intended to be distributed among the
Public Schools of the county, and to re-enact the same amend-
ments;

Which was read a first time and referred to Queen Anne's
and Kent delegations:

A bill entitled, an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Kent county, to convey to Isaac Parsons and others
of said county, a portion of "Old Crew's Landing near the
mouth of Sassafrass River:

Which was read a first time and referred to the Kent and
Caroline county delegation.

Also, returned a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the
Big Hunting Creek Mining and Iron Manufacturing Company
of Frederick county;

A bill entitled, an Act to amend the first section of the Act
passed at January session 1860, chapter 303, entitled, an Act
to carry into effect the eighth section of the Act entitled, an
Act for the promotion of internal improvements, passed at
December session, eighteen hundred and thirty-five, chap-
ter 395;

A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Harford Fire In-
surance Company of Baltimore city;

A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Home Fire In-
surance Company of Baltimore;

A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Oblate Sisters of
Providence of the city of Baltimore;

A bill entitled, an Act to extend the time allowed the citi-
zens of East New Market in Dorchester county, under the Act
of 1860, ch. 311, to organize their incorporation by the Elec-
tion of officers;

A bill entitled, an Act to pay to Isaac C. W. Poweli and
James LI. Martin, former States Attorney's for Talbot coun-
ty, Commissions on a certain sum of money collected by
them, and paid into, the Treasury of this State;

A bill entitled, an Act to amend an Act entitled, an Act
to Incorporate the Safe Doposit Company of Baltimore;
Severally endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."

The bill entitled, an Act to amend and re-enact section 25,
of Article 13, of Public Local Laws for Howard county, relat-
ing to Justices of the Peace and Constables;
