Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings, to report a bill entitled, an Act to provide for the ap-
pointment of an additional Justice of the Peace for Election
District, No. 5, in Somerset county.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Monu-
mental Hotel Company;

Reported it with an amendment,

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Balti-
more Ice Company;

Reported it without amendment.

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Presi-
dent and Commissioners of the town of Warwick;

Reported it without amendment.

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to
which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to continue the
charter of the Canton Company of Baltimore,

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Har-
ford Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore city;

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read the second time.

The President announced the unfinished business of Satur-
day, being, the motion of Mr. Maddox, to reconsider the vote
by which the bill entitled, an Act to provide for taking the
sense of the people of the State on a call of a Convention to
frame a New Constitution and Form of Government, and for
assembling the members thereof;

Was made the order of the day for Thursday the 28th
inst.

Mr. Maddox withdrew the motion to reconsider.

On motion by Mr. Tome,
Said bill was ordered to be printed.
