Mr. Gplibart presented the petition of Joseph J. Riale,
Levi R. Means, David Conoly and 55 citizens of Cecil county
against the passage of the Cecil and Harford Boom Law;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Cor-
porations.

Mr. Hall presented the petition of A. C. Gibbg and others,
of Anne Arundel county, remonstrating against any amend-
ment or modification of the Charter of the Baltimore and Po-
tomac Rail Company;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Inter-
nal Improvement.

Mr. Neale presented the petition of John B. Brown and
others, for the repeal of an Act, chapter 135, of Public Local
Laws, for Queen Anne's county, passed March 1st, 1864, re-
lating to the jurisdiction of Justices of the Peace;

Mr. Dennis presented a memorial to the Legislature not to
repeal the Funeral Law, signed by Thomas W. Levering,
Gilmor, Meredith, John Stellman and 70 othersJ

Which were read and severally referred to the Committee
on the Judiciary.

On motion of Mr. Feig,

Ordered, That it be entered upon the Journal that Mr.
Flaherty was absent from his seat on Thursday and Friday
on account of sickness.

On motion of Mr. Gorsuch,

Ordered, That this House adjourn to-day at one o'clock P.
M. and stand adjourned until Monday next at 12 o'clock,
noon.

On motion of Mr. Brydon,
Ordered, That it be entered upon the Journal of this
