On motion of Mr. Spicer,
The rules being suspended,

Leave was granted the Baltimore and Harford county dele-
gations to introduce a bill entitled, an Act to authorize and
empower the County Commissioners of Harford and Balti-
more counties-, to construct a bridge across Little Gunpowder
Falls.

The Secretary of the Senate returned the bill entitled, an
Act to incorporate the Burkettsville Female Seminary of
Frederick county;

Endorsed "passed by yeas and nays."

Also, delivered the bill entitled, an Act granting the as-
sent of the Legislature of Maryland, to a bequest made in the
last will and testament of Victor Thomson, late of Washing-
ton county, deceased, to the Trusteed of the Presbyterian
Church at Hagerstown;

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on the Judiciary.

Also, the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Susque-
hanna Hotel Company^ in Port Deposit.

Alse, the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Maryland
and New York Steam Transportation Company.

Also, the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Mutual
Fire Insurance Company of Somerset and Worcester counties,

Also, the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Miles
River Wharf Company, at Miles river in Talbot county,
passed at January session, 1864, chapter 46;

Which were severally read a first time and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.

Also, the bill entitled, an Act to provide for the measure-
ment of oysters in Baltimore city;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Select
Committee on Oysters.

Mr. Robson moved that the House do now adjourn until to-
morrow morning at 11 o'clock.

Mr. Boswell proposed as a substitute, to adjourn until to-
morrow morning at ten o'clock.

The question then recurring upon the motion of Mr. Robson,
It was concurred in,

And the House adjourned until to-morrow morning at 11
