Mr. Maddox, from the Select Committee reported a bill en-
titled, an Act to repeal section 3 of an Act passed at January
session, 1866, chapter 108, entitled, an Act to amend an Act
entitled, an act to aid and encourage enlistments into the
Maryland regiments in service of the United States, passed
e8647 chapter 15, and re-enact the same with amendments;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance;

Mr. Maddox, moved a reconsideration of the vote making
the bill entitled, an Act to provide for taking the sense of the
people of the State on a call of a Convention to frame a New
Constitution and Form of Government, and for assembling the
members thereof, the order of the day for Thursday the
28th inst;

Mr. Bowie moved a call of the Senate,

The Sergeant-at-Arms was sent to inform the absent Sena-
tors that their attendance was required in the Senate Cham-
ber.

The Sergeant-at-Arms returned and reported that he had
notified all the absent Senators in the city.

Mr. Stephenson then moved that the Senate adjourn ;
