On motion of Mr. Jones,

The House adjourned until to-morrow morning, at 11
o'clock.

WEDNESDAY, Feb. 27, 1867.

The House met and was opened with prayer by the Rev.
Mr. Leach.

Present at the call of the roll the following members :

Dennis, Parsons, Kerr, Evans, Whitaker, Magruder, Calverrj

Tobey, Hoffhine, Bishop, Button, Neilson, Smith Flaherty,
Robson, Hooper, Israel, Knott, Stevens, Boswell, Thomson,
Davis of Bait, city, Waltemeyer, Feig, Pitts, Aydelott,
Gordy, Wilson, Spicer, McCulley, Devecmon, Brydon, Car-
inichael, Neale, Benton, Poole, Criswell, Dawson, King,

The Speaker laid before the House the report of John
W. Garrett, Esq. President of the Baltimore and Ohio
Railroad Company, in response to an order of the House,
passed February 9, 1867:
