Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to report
a bill to incorporate the Frederick county Superphosphate
and Manufacturing Company.

On motion of Mr. Gordy,

Leave was granted the Somerset and Worcester delegation
!o report a bill entitled, an Act to authorize the commission-
ers of Worcester county to establish the road as it now runs,
through the lands of Benjamin Elliott, as the line between
Worcester and Somerset counties.

On motion of Mr. Appleman,

Leave was granted the Washington county delegation to
introduce a bill to incorporate Oak Spring Lodge, No. 9, In-
dependent Order of Good Templars, Hagerstown, Md.

On motion of Mr. Evans,

Leave was granted the Committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill entitled, an Act to amend and re-enact sections
7 and 8 of Article 29 of the Code of Public General Laws,
relating to the appointment and compensation of assistant
counsel.

On motion of Mr. Devecmon,

Leave was granted Allegany County delegation to intro-
duce a bill entitled, an Act to repeal section six of the Act of
1864, chapter 121, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

Also, leave was granted the Committee on the Judiciary
to report a bill entitled, an Act to repeal, amend and re-enact
section 267 of the Code of Public General Laws.

On motion of Mr. Kerr,
The rules being suspended,

The vote by which the bill entitled, an Act to prevent the
disease called "Glanders," in this State, was passed,

Was reconsidered.
On motion of Mr. Whiteford,

The bill was then ordered to be printed and recommitted to
the Committee on Agriculture.

The House took up for consideration the order offered by
Mr. Smith at last evenings session and the substitute offered
by Mr. Boswell, relative to receiving the Baltimore committee
as alluded to in said order;

The question then retaining upon the motion of Mr. Bos-
well for the previous question;
