The bill, as amended, was then read a second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

On motion of Mr. Boswell,
(The rules being suspended,)

The House took up for consideration the bill entitled, an
Act to incorporate the Avalon Nail and Iron Company ;
Said bill being upon its second reading,
The bill was then read a second time.
Mr. Morgan moved that the House do now adjourn until
to-morrow morning at twelve o'clock ;
Which was decided in the negative.

On motion of Mr. Phelps,
The House took a recess until five o'clock P. M.
