ris and Elizabeth Norris, his wife, to contey by deed a tract
of land to the party therein mentioned ;

Hyatt, certain sum of money erroneously paid into the State
Treasury;

on Judiciary.

tions of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Crimes and
Punishments," to wit, sections 69, 70, 71 and 72, sub-title
"importing convicts or slaves;" sections 75 and 77, sub-title
"incendiary and obscene duplications ;" sections 94, 95, 96
and 97, sub-title "kidnapping;" section 128; sub-title "mar-
rying unlawfully; sections 141; sub-title "murder," sections
146, 147, 148, 149, and 150, sub-title "negroes;" section 153
and 154, sub-title "passes to negroes;" section 168, sub-title
"religious meetings;" sections 174, 175, 176, and 177, sub-
title "runaways."

Also, a bill entitled, an Act to repeal the Act of January
session, 1864, chapter 282, entitled, an Act to add the fol-
lowing section to the 40th Article of Public General Laws,
requiring jurors to take the oath of allegiance;

Which were severally read a first time and referred to the
Committee on the Judiciary.

Also, a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the village of
Church Creek in Dorchester county;

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Corporations.

Also, a bill entitled, an Act to prevent the spread of the
disease called Glanders, in the State;

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Agriculture.

Also, a bill enlitled, an Act requiring the County Commis-
sioners of Prince George's county, to construct a bridge across
the Eastern Branch at Bladensburg, on the turnpike leading
to Washington, and authorizing them to levy the sum there

Which was read a first time and referred to the Prince-
George's and Montgomery delegations.
