Were severally read a second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Bixler moved that the House do now adjourn;
Which was decided in the negative.

The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Trustees of the
Baptist church at Jone's Mills in Dorchester county.

The bill entitled, an Act to amend and re-enact section 23
of Article 12 of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to
the time of holding the terms of the Circuit Court for Harford
county;

The bill entitled, an Act to change the name of William
Smith of Baltimore county, to William France;

The bill entitled, an Act to prohibit the sale of intoxicating
liquors in District No. 1, Washington county;

Were severally read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

On Motion of Mr. Knott,

The House adjourned until to-morrow morning, at 11
o'clock.

TUESDAY, February 12, 1867.

The House met, and was opened with prayer by the Rev.
Mr. Leach.

Present at the call of the roll, the following members:

The Journal of yesterday was read and approved.
