It was sustained. The question then recurring upon the motion of Mr. Neil- It was lost. The question then recurred upon the second reading of the Pending which, Mr. Neale proposed the following amendment: After the word "county" in 1st section, insert "or the Mr. Nicolai proposed the following amendment: Insert "Washington county," after the word "Annapolis," Which was lost. The question then recurring upon the bill; Mr. Neilson moved to .strike out the enacting clause, Which was lost.
