On motion of Mr. McCulley,

Leave was granted Committee on Corporations to report a
bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Mutual Life Insurance
Company of Allegany county.

On motion of Mr. Bruce,

Leave was granted the Allegany county delegation
to report a bill to change the mode of collecting the taxes in
said county

On motion of Mr. Whiteford,

Leave was granted the Harford county delegation to intro-
duce a bill entitled an Act to authorize Benjamin Norris and
Elizabeth Norris, his wife, to convey by deed, a tract of land
in Harford county, Maryland, to Archbishop Spaulding.
On motion of Mr. Nicolai,

Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to re-
port a bill to incorporate the Woodstock College of Baltimore
county.

Also, leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to
report a bill to incorporate the Baltimore, Hall Spring's and
Harford Railway Company.

On motion of Mr. Kraft,

Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the
Santa Clara Mining Company of Baltimore, by enabling said
company to make and enforce assessments upon the capital
stock.

On motion of Mr. Carmichael,

Leave was granted Queen Anne's County delegation to in-
troduce a bill to be entitled an Act to add a new section to
the Code of Public Local Laws for Queen Anne's county, au-
thorizing the Commissioners of said county to build a jail in
said county.

On motion of Mr. Dennis,

Leave was granted the Somerset County delegation to report
a bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Annamessic Hotel
Company of Somerset county.

Also, leave was granted the Somerset county delegation to
report a bill to be entitled, an Act to prevent the interruption
of the navigation of the Little Annamessic river in Somerset
county.

Also, leave, was grated the Somerset County delegation to
report a bill to be entitled an Act to provide for the appoint-
ment of one additional Justice of the Peace and one addi-
tional constable for Lawson's election district in Somerset
county.
