tee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Baltimore Ice
Company;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled, an Act entitled, a supplement to an Act
passed at January Session, 1856, chapter 109, to amend an
Act entitled, an Act to incorporate the Fremont Savings In-
stitution of Baltimore, by allowing said institution the privil-
eges embraced uuder the Act entitled, an Act to continue the
corporate existence of the several banking institutions therein
mentioned, passed at January Session, 1853, chapter 441 ;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

The bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 152 of the 30th
Article of the Code of Public General Laws, title, crimes and
punishments, sub-title "fornication with negroes," and to re-
enact the same with amendments, was

On motion by Mr. Davis,
Laid over informally.

The bill entitled, an Act to make valid the acts of and the
proceedings of the Commissioners of the town of Rockville,
Montgomery county,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading, and

Was accordingly engrossed.

The bill entitled, an Act requiring the Adjutant General
to furnish arms for the use of Charlotte Hall School;

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading, and

Wtvs accordingly engrossed.
On motion by Mr. Bowie,

The Seaate took up for consideration the bill entitled an
Act to incorporate the Maryland State Agricultural and Me-
chanical Association ;

The bill was then read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading, and

Was accordingly engrossed.

The bill entitled, an Act to add the following sections to
Article 4 of the Public Local Laws, relating to sale of real
and leasehold estate for taxes in the city of Baltimore,
