day, being the bill authorizing.the running of the City Pas-
senger Railway Cars, in Baltimore on Sunday;

On motion of Mr. Neilson,

It was postponed until to-morrow.

The second prder of the day being the majority and minori-
ty reports of the Committee on Elections, in reference to the
sitting members from Allegany county;

Was then taken up for consideration.

Pending which,

Mr. Neilson moved that the House adjourn until to-morrow
morning at eleven o'clock;

Mr. Clarke moved that the House take a recess until this
afternoon at 4 1/2 o'clock;

Which was concurred in,

And the House took a recess until 4 1/2 o'clock this P. M.

THURSDAY, Feb. 7, 4 1/2 o'clock P. M.

The House met.

Present at the call of the roll, the following members :

Clarke, Cameron, Hutchins, Ford, Nicolai, Thomas, Jones,
Dennis, Kerr, Lindsey, Magruder, Calvert, Rouzer, Buhr-

hine, Bishop, Burche, Turner, Coleman, Robson, Hooper, Is-
rael, Knott, Kraft, Boswell, Waltemeyer, Feig, Bixler.
Pitts, Gordy, Nelson, Whiteford, Wilson, Spicer, Gilpin,
McCulley, Haller, Bruce, McCulloh, Carmichael, Neale,
Poole, Dawson, Horsey—54.

The House resumed the consideration of the Majority and
Minority reports of the Committee on Elections, on the right
of the sitting members from Allegany county, to their seats.

Pending which,

On motion Mr. Ford,
The House adjourned until to-morrow morning at 11 o'clock.
