ciary.

A bill entitled, an Act to declare the sanction of the General
Assembly of Maryland, to the bequest of Margaret Julia
Newman, late of Queen Anne's county, deceased, to the
Methodist Episcopal cliurch in said county;

A bill entitled, an Act to declare the sanction of the General
Assembly of Maryland, to the bequest of Caroline S. New-
man, late of the Queen Anne's county, deceased, to the Stew-
ards of the Methodist Episcopal church, in Centreville in said
county.

A bill entitled, an Act to provide for the compensation of the
Crier of the Circuit Court for Cecil county;

A bill entitled, an Act to add additional sections to article 11
of the Code of Public Laws of Frederick county, relating to
the powers and duties of the Mayor, Alderman and Council
of Frederick city, to follow section one hundred and forty-
seven;

A bill entitled, an Act to authorise the Register of Wills for
Dorchester county, to record the will of the late Dr. Joseph
Nicols of said county.

A bill entitled, an Act to pay A. Lingan Jarrett the balance
of his salary, as late Comptroller of the Treasury.

A bill entitled, an Act to enable Frostburg Lodge, No. 49,
Independent Order of Odd Fellows, to sell and transfer their
hall;

Which were severally read a second time.

The bill entitled, an act to incorporate the President and
Commissioners of the town of Warwick;

Was read a second time, and
On motion of Mr. Lindsey,
The rules being suspended,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as fol-
