On motion of Mr. Davis, of Charles,
The Doorkeeper was sent after the absent members.
Pending the absence of the Doorkeeper,

Mr. Spicer moved that all further proceedings under the
call be dispensed with;

Which was decided in the negative; when,

On motion of Mr. Neilson,

All further proceedings under the call were dispensed
with.

On motion of Mr. Clarke,
The House took a recess until 8 o'clock, P. M.

WEDNESDAY, Feb. 6, 8 o'clock, P. M.

The House met.

Present at the call of the roll the following Members :

gruder, Rouzer, Baker, Bamford, Appleman, Tobey, Hoffhine,
Bishop, Burche, Coleman, Neilson, Flaherty, Robson, Israel,
Pitts, Gordy, Nelson, Whiteford, Wilson, Spicer, Gilpin,
Haller, Bruce, McCulloh, Neale, Benton, Poole, Gore, Daw-
son, Horsey, King, Hammond.

On motion of Mr. Jones, (the rules being suspended)

Leave was granted the Committee on Judiciary, to report
a bill, to be entitled an Act, to repeal Section six of Article
35, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled Elections,
relating to the attendance of judges of election, and section
nine of said Article, prescribing the oath of judges of elec-
tion, and section twelve of said Article, prescribing notice of
election to be given by the Sheriff of the several counties,
and to enact a substitute for each of said sections.

The bill entitled an Act, to release all claim to and interest
