ishments relating to funerals;"

The hour having arrived, the order of the day, being the
bill entitled, an Act to repeal Article 63, Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws relating to Militia, and sections 652 to 770, both
inclusive, of Article 4, Code of Public Local Laws, relating to
Militia in the city of Baltimore, and to re-enact said Article
63, with amendments;

Was taken up.

The said bill being on its second reading.

Mr. Davis of Baltimore, submitted the following amend-
ment:

Sub-section 4, line 4, strike out the words "not exceding
ten thousand;"
Which was adopted.

Mr. Steiner submitted the following amendment:

Strike out the words "or the reasonable apprehension of

such," in paragraph 3, line 5, of the Article under head of

Militia;
