So the blank was filled with the words "to-morrow morning
at 11 o'clock."

The question then recurring upon the passage of me reso-
lutions, they were unanimously adopted.

The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following mes-
sage:

BT THE SENATE,

February 1st, 1867.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

We have received the message of your Honorable Body,
announcing the death of Henry S. MaGraw, late a member
of the House of Delegates from Cecil county.

We fully sympathize in the sad feelings which this pain-
ful dispensation has excited in the bosoms of colleagues and
associates, and cordially unite with your Honorable Body, in
the disposition to pay all proper and becoming respect to the
memory of the deceased, in acknowledgment of his estimable
character, his many virtues and faithful public services. In
accordance with the action and suggestion of your Honorable
Body, the Senate will adjourn until Monday next.

We have appointed Messrs. Waters and Tome, on the part
of the Senate to attend the funeral obsequies of the deceased.

A. GASSAWAY,

Secretary.
Which was read.

The Speaker then, in accordance with the resolutions pre-
viously adopted, announced that the House stood adjourned
until to-morrow morning at eleven o'clock.
