a law permitting the running of the City passenger Railway
cars on the Sabbath day ;

Which was, read and referred to the Baltimore city delega-
tion.

Mr. McCulloh, from Select Committee, reported favorably
upon a bill entitled, an Act to enable Frostbnrg Lodge No.
49, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, to sell and transfer
their Hall.

Mr. Steiner, from Select Committee, reported favorably a
bill entitled; an Act to add additional sections to Article 11
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Frederick county, re-
lating to the powers and duties of the Mayor, Alderman and
Council of Frederick city to follow section 147.

Mr. Evans, from Select Committee, reported favorably a
bill entitled, an Act to provide for the compensation of the
crier of the Circuit Court for Cecil county.

Mr. Jones, from the Select Committee, reported favorably
a hill entitled, an Act to authorize the Register of Wills for
Dorchester county to record the will of the late Dr. Joseph
Nichols, of said county.

Mr. Poole, from the Select Committee, reported favorably
a bill entitled, an Act to authorize the Commissioners of Car-
roll county to, appoint an additional constable for District
No. 11, in said county;

Which were severally read a first time.

The Secretary of the Senate delivered the bill entitled, an
Act, to provide for correcting the lists of qualified voters by
adding thereto the names of citizens of this State who have
been restored to their full rights of citizenship by an Act of
the General Assembly, and for amending the Article of the
Code of Public General Laws entitled, Registration, by add-
ing thereto the following sections;

Which was read a first time and referred to Committee on
Registration.

On motion of Mr. McCulloh,

Leave was granted the Committee on the Judiciary to re-
port a bill to change the name of Richard Dodson to Richard
Stearns Dodson.

On motion of Mr. Cameron,

Leave was granted the Baltimore county delegation to in-
troduce a bill to increase the pay of Bailiffs in the Circuit
Court of Baltimore county.

Mr. Boswell, (the rules being suspended,) offered the fol-
