Mr. Vickerg, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported a bill entitled, an Act to repeal chapter 127, of the
Acts of 1864, entitled, an Act to add additional sections to the
44th Article of the Code of Public General laws, title, Mary-
land Hospital, prescribing an additional oath to be taken by
the President, Vice-President and Visitors of the said Hospi-
tal, and to re-instate the former president, vice-president and
visitors of the said Hospital in office;

Which was read the first time,

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably a bill entitled, an Act to protect Churches
and church property and parsonages, and to punish trespasses
on the same;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Tome, from the Select Committee, reported a bill en-
titled, an Act to amend the charter of the Philadelphia and
Baltimore Central Rail Road Company;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Davis, in pursuance of previous notice, moved a recon-
sideration of the vote upon the passage of the bill entitled,
an Act to provide for the selection, drawing and summoning
of juries in Washington, Frederick and Carroll counties, and
prescribing their qualification ;

On the question being put, it was

Determined in the negative by yeas and nays as follow :

Mr. Bowie, from the Select Committee, reported a bill en-
titled, an Act to authorize Frederick Sasscer, Clerk of the
Circuit Court for Prince George's county, to transcribe or
have transcribed the old Chancery Docket in his office from
September term, eighteen hundred and three, to November
term, eighteen hundred and fifty-one, in the manner and
form prescribed by law ;

Which was read the first time.
