TUESDAY, February 12, 1867.

Mr. Tome presented the memorial of M. D. Kurtz, and 81
other citizens of Cecil county, remonstrating against any
legislative action by the Legislature, whereby the existing
restrictions for the observance of the Christian Sabbath would
be relaxed;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings.

Mr, Bowie presented the memorial of John H. B. Latrobe,
Jr., Reverdy Johnson, Jr., and other prominent citizens of
Baltimore, against any amendment to the charter of the Bal-
timore and Potomac Rail Road Company;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Internal
Improvements.

Mr. Bowie presented the memorial of White, Rent & Co.,
Rowe, Purcell & Co., Thomas S. Sumwalt, and other mer-
chants and citizens of Baltimore, remonstranting against any
change in the charter of the Baltimore and Potomac Rail Road
Company;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Internal
Improvements.

Mr. Bowie presented the memorial of Gabriel D. Clarke,
and other merchants and citizens of Baltimore, protesting
against any change in the charter of the Baltimore and Poto-
mac Rail Road Company;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Inter-
nal Improvements.

Mr. Bowie presented the memorial of Carson, Richardson
& Co., and other mercantile firms of Baltimore praying the
Legislature not to alter or amend the charter of the Baltimore
and Potomac Rail Road Company;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Inter-
nal improvements.

Mr. Bowie presented the memorial of R. Courtney & Bro.,
and other merchants and residents of Baltimore, asking the
General Assembly not to change the charter of the Baltimore
and Potomac Rail Road Company;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Inter-
nal Improvements.

Mr. Bowie presented the memorial of J. J. Turner & Co.,
and other merchants and citizens of Baltimore against any
change in the charter of the Baltimore and Potomac Rail
Road Company;
