On motion of Mr. Aydelott,

Leave was granted the Worcester county delegation to
report a bill to add a new section to Article 22 of the Public
Local Laws, relating to Worcester county, regulating the
powers of the Register of Wills.

On motion of Mr. Coleman,

Leave was granted the Committee on Ways and Means to
report a bill to repeal section 405 of Article 4, of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore city, and to re-enact
the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Appleman,

Leave was granted the Washington county delegation, to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Farmers and Mechanics
Mutual Insurance Company of Washington county.

On motion of Mr. Tobey,

Leave was granted the Washington county delegation, to
report a bill to exempt the German Baptist of Washington
county from serving on Juries.

On motion of Mr. Clarke,

Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations, to in-
troduce a bill to incorporate the Tyson Mining Company.

On motion of Mr. Clarke,

Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill to incorporate the Baltimore Chrome Works.

On motion of Mr. Knott,

Leave was granted the Committe on Elections to sit during
the Session of this House pending the contested election case
from Allegany county.

Mr. Calvert from a Select Committee, reported favorably a
bill entitled, an Act to alter and change the name of George
Ferdinand Taylor to that of George Washington Taylor;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Linthicum from a Select Committee, reported favorably
an Act entitled, an Act to enable the trustees of Middletown
Academy, to transfer by deed the said building and grounds
to the Board of School Commissioners of Frederick city;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Jones from a Select Committee, reported favorably a
bill entitled, an Act to authorize the Committee of the Pres-
byterian Congregation of Pitt's Creek, in Worcester county,
to sell and convey certain real estate in said county, and to
receive the proceeds of sate;

Which was read the first time
