Mr. Lankord, submitted the following amendment to the
title; An Act, entitled an Act to repeal an Act, passed January
Session 1866, chapter 1st, entitled, an Act authorising the
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, to build a new City
Hall, and to re-enact the same;
Which was adopted.
Said bill was then sent to the Senate.
The bill entitled, an Act to authorise the Governor to ap-
point an additional Justice of the Peace for the 3rd Election
District in Talbot county;
Was taken up for consideration on its third reading.
On motion of Mr. Jump,
Said bill was re-committed to the Talbot county delega-
tion.
The bill entitled, an Act to authorise the School Commis-
sioners of Calvert county, to sell certain Bank Stock held by
them for the benefit of the Public Schools of said county, and
to apply the proceeds to educational purposes in said county;
Was read the third time,
And passed by yeas and nays, as follows:
