Mr. Bowie presented the memorial of D. Heis Rell and
other citizens of Maryland, praying the General Assembly
that "governed by a sense of justice to Southern Maryland,
no change or amendment may be made in the charter of the
Baltimore and Potomac Raid Road Company;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Internal
Improvements.

Mr. Bowie presented the memorial of Judson F. Richard-
son and other citizens of Maryland, praying that no modifica-
tion or amendment may be made in the charter of the Balti-
more and Potomac Rail Road Company ;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Inter-
nal Improvements.

Mr. Bowie presented the memorial of Hon. Thos. F. Bowie
and the Judges of the Orphans' Court, and 87 other promi-
nent citizens of Prince George's county, praying the General
Assembly not to alter or amend the charter of the Baltimore
and Potomac Rail Road Company;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Inter-
nal Improvements.

Mr. Bowie presented the memorial of G. W. Brent and
other citizens of Maryland, praying that no modification or
amendment may be made in the charter of the Baltimore and
Potomac Rail Road Company ;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Inter-
nal Improvements.

Mr. Jump presented the petition of Jacob Morgan and 96
others, praying the appropriation for the Mispillion and
Choptank Rail Road be given to the Maryland and Delaware
Rail Road;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Inter-
nal Improvements.

Mr. Stephenson presented the memorial of 53 citizens of
Cecil county, againit the erection of booms in the Snsque-
hanna ;

Which was read and referred to the committee on that
subject.

Mr. Stephenson presented the memorial of 17 citizens of
Cecil county, against the erection of booms in the Susqne-
hanna River ;

Which was read and referred to the committee on that
subject.
