SCHEDULE A.
OAKLAND, MD., January 4th and 5th.
Interrogatorry 1st. What is your narae, age, occupation
and. residence and how long have you lived there?
Interrogatory 2d. Did you receive from the Governor the
appointment of officer of registration for said election district;
did you qualify and act as such and for what year, had you
read the Constitution and law regulating the registration of
voters, before entering on the discharge of that duty, did you
administer the "oath of voters," asprescribed in Article 1st,
section 4th, of the Constitution of Maryland, to each person
before entering his name in the eighth column of the book
of registration, or on the list of qualified voters, and did you
give notice as required by law of the times and places of re-
gistration ?
Interrogatory 3d. Did you or did you not enter in the
eighth column of the book of registration, or on the list of
qualified voters for said District, the names of persons
whose names had previously been entered or registered as dis-
loyal; it so, state your reasons and authority for so doing
fully and in detail and give the names of the persons so en-
tered and with which political party do they act ?
Interrogatory 4th. Did you enter on your said book of re-
gistration any names not before entered and register them as
qualified votors; if so, were they persons who were of lawful
age, and had legal residence in said District before the 1st
day of November, 1865, if so, give your reasons and authority
for so doing; name the persons and the political party with
which they act ?
Interrogatory 5th. Was your name registered as a voter
before the 1st day of August, 1866; did you vote for State
