hundred and forty-two votes or ballots had been Cast or voted
for the said Alfred Spates for State Senator and twenty-three
hundred and seven votes had been cast or voted for you, the
said Charles H. Ohr, for State Senator; and that the tickets
or ballots so counted were the same tickets and ballots which
had been returned by the Judges of said election and lodged
with the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Allegany county
under the provisions of section 38 of Article 35 of the
Code of Public General Laws of Maryland; and that the
Judges of the election of Election District No. 6 of Allegany
county did not return any certificate of the number of votes
cast for State Senator in said district under the provisions of
section 28 of Article 35 of the Public General Laws of Mary-
land.
If all the witnesses cannot be examined in the days named
then to be continued from day to day until the same is
through.
You are required to attend at the above mentioned times and
places either in person or by attorney to cross-examine wit-
nesses.
