The Superintendent of Public Buildings and Grounds is the Custo-
dian of the State Buildings and grounds at Annapolis, and has charge
of all matters pertaining to the lighting, heating and repairing of the
property. —

The Adjutant-General is appointed by the Governor, by and with the
advice and consent of the Senate, and holds his office for the term of
the Governor and until the appointment and qualification of his

office during his pleasure.
