Act to make certain improvements in the vicinity of the State Live Stock Scales in Baltimore county, passed at January Session, 1864, chapter 23, by enlarging the powers and du- ties of the commissioners therein named; Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays, with proposed amend- ments:" AMENDMENTS PROPOSED: In line 9, strike out all after the word "say, "to "Baltimore," inclusive in line 12, and insert "all pertaining to the bridge to be paid by the State of Maryland, and one half the ex- penses for grading, curbing and paving, and for which pur- pose the sum of five thousand dollars or so much thereof as may be necessary is hereby appropriated, and the other part to be paid by the owners of property on the line of said road, in the county and in the city of Baltimore." Add to section 1, "provided, that. the -written consent of said Calverton Turnpike any proposed change of grade of said road shall be first obtained." Add to 3d section "this Act not to be construed to in- terfere with the proviso in the 1st section." The amendments were concurred in and the bill passed by yeas and nays as follow:
