The said resolution was then sent to the Senate.
The joint resolution abolishing the 30th, section of the
third article of the Constitution;
Was taken up for consideration on its third reading;
On motion of Mr. Rinehart,
It was postponed informally.
The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following mes-
sage:
The Senate hill entitled, an Act to enfranchise the persons
therein named;
Which was read. the first time and referred to the committee
on Registration.
Also, the following House bills:
A 'bill entitled an Act to amend the Act. to incorporate the
Western Avenue company, passed -January Session, one
thousand eight hundred and. sixty, chapter 112:
A hill entitled, an Act authorising the commissioners of
Montgomery county, to deed a portion of the Court, House
Square; in the Town of Rockville, to Lewis Shots;
A bill entitled, an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments the 31st section of the 9th article of the Code of
Public Local Laws:
A bill entitled, an Act to amend the 3d section of article 33
of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to Indigent
Blind;
A bill entitled,an Act to amend article 21 of the Code of
Public Laws, relating to Washington, county, by adding
thereto additional sections authorising the Mayor and
Council of Hagerstown to open streets and alleys in said
town;
