Lee, Lusy, Markey, McCullough, Miller, of Anne Arundel,
Miller, of Washington, Mittag, Mules, Nairne, Norris,
Parker, Pennington, Pilkington, Poteet, Rider, Rinehart,
Roberts, Robinson, Shaw, Sherry, Silver, Slothower, Smith,
of Allegany, Smith, of Frederick, Stewart, Tolson, Tull,
Usilton, Valliant, Warner, Williams, Willis, Wilson,

The Journal of yesterday was read and approved.
Mr. Lee presented ten petitions from citizens of Cecil and
Harford counties in favor of the Boom Company.
Mr. Silver presented a petition of John W. McCullough,
J. R. Coulson, and one hundred and forty-two citizens of
Port Deposit, against the passage of the Boom bill now
pending;
"Which was read and referred to the Committee on Corpo-
rations.
Mr. Norris presented, a petition from two hundred and
ninety-eight citizens of Carroll county, for the repeal or
modification of the Registry Law;
Also, a petition of seventy-three citizens of Carroll county,
for the repeal or modification of the Registry Law;
"Which were read and referred to the Committee on Regis-
tration.
Mr. Miller, of Anne Arundel, presented a petition from
John Mooney, and other citizens of Anne Arundel county,
praying a repeal or modification of the Registry Law;
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Regis-
tration,
Mr. Smith, of Frederick, presented a petition from Samuel
P. Haffuer and eighteen others, citizens of Frederick county
living near the Monocacy river, against the passage of a law
prohibiting the erection of fish or eel-pots thereon;
Also, a petition from Urbana and. Buckeystown District,
Frederick county, against the passage of a law prohibiting
the erection of eel-pots on the waters of the Monocacy River;
Which were read and. referred to the Frederick: county
delegation.
Mr. "Williams presented a petition from John F. Ireland,
and. twenty-four other citizens of Calvert county, in favor of
the repeal of the Registry Law;
