The said bill was then sent to the Senate. The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the town of Elli- cott's Mills, by the name of Ellicott's City. Was read the second time, amended and ordered to be en- gossed for a third reading. On motion of Mr. Miller, of Washington, The rules were suspended, and he submitted the following order: Ordered, That the Postmaster of the House of Delegates furnish each member of the House of Delegates with fifty dollars in stamps, for the purpose of paying postage on docu- ments; Mr. Buhrman moved to lay said order on the table; Decided in the negative. The question then being on the adoption of the order,. Mr. Buhrman demanded, the yeas and nays. The demand being sustained, The yeas and nays were called and app'eared as lono-iv:
