The bill to make certain improvements in the vicinity of
the State Live Stock Scales;
Was referred to the Baltimore county delegation.
The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Leitersburg
Lamp and Tin Ware Manufacturing Company;
. Was read the third time and passed by yeas and cays as

The said bill was then sent to the Senate.
The bill entited, an Act to relieve the sureties of Moses
Pawling, for the year 1846, upon the Sheriff bond;
Was read the second time, amended, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
The bill entitled, an Act to provide additional funds for
the support of the Free Public Schools in the State of Mary-
land;
Was taken up for consideration on its second reading.
Mr. Valliant submitted the following amendment:
Amend by striking out the words "ten cents," and insert-
ing "twenty cents."
Pending the consideration of which,
On motion of Mr. Soper,
The House adjourned.
