Mr. Hopkins presented a petition from E. J. Moor, Jno, B. Nesbit and 1, 240 citizens of Cecil county, for a repeal or modification of the Registration Law; Which was read and referred to the committee on Regis- tration.* Mr. Silver presented a petition from Taylor Cole and forty three others of Harford county, in favor of the repeal of the Registration Law; Which was read and referred to the committee on Regis- tration. Mr. Fawcett presented a petition from H. Washington and fifty-two other citizens of Frederick county, for the repeal of the Registry Law; Which was read and referred to the committee on Regis- tration. Mr. Hoffman presented a petition from 100 citizens of Bal- timore county, asking that the law prohibiting the sale of spirituous liquors near Woodbury Factory may not be re- pealed; Which was read and referred to the Baltimore county del- egation. Mr. Slothower presented a petition from citizens, freehold- ers, of Baltimore county, to authorize the Commissioners of Baltimore county to levy a tax to build a bridge over Gwynn's run, where Townsend street crosses it; Which was read and referred to the committee on Corpo- rations, Mr. Shaw presented a petition from 289 citizens of Carroll county, for a repeal or modification of the Registry Law; Which was read and referred to the committee on Regis- tration. |
