The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following House
bills:
A bill entitled, an Act further to regulate the relation of
creditor and debtor between the State of Maryland and theSus-
quehanna and Tide Water Canal Companies;
A bill entitled, an Act to authorize Grayson Eichelberger,
State Bounty Commissioner of Frederick county, to pay
Dennis H. Maynard certain bounties;
Severally endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."
A bill entitled, an Act to add an additional section to the
28th article of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to
the pay of county commissioners, and to repeal all the sec-
tions of the several articles of the Code of Public Local
Laws, relating to the pay of county commissioners;
A bill entitled, an Act to protect timber of any kind what-
soever in Dorchester county;
Severally endorsed, "rejected."
On motion of Mr. Buhrman,
The House adjourned.
THURSDAY, February L 1866.
The House met and was opened with prayer by the Rev.
Mr. Hammond.
