The hill entitled, an Ac!, to incorporate the American Ho-
tel Company, in the City of Annapolis;
Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
The bill entitled, an Act to amend an Act entitled, an Act
to make certain improvements in the vicinity of the State live
stock scales, in Baltimore county, passed January session,
1864, chapter 2;!', by enlarging the powers and duties of the
Commissionera therein named;
Was re;id the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
The l/ll entitled, an Act to add to the Local Laws of Bal-
timore, to provide for a pal.n'y to the Mayor for acting as ons
of the Board of Police Commissioners;
Was read the second time and ordered to ba engrossed for
a third reading.
The Secretary of the Senate, delivered the House hill en-
titlsd, an Act to authorize the County Commissioners of
Washington county, to subscribe to the capital stock of tho
Western Maryland Railroad Company, endorsed "passed by
yeas and nays with proposed amendment;"
The amendment was concurred in, and the hill, as amend-
ed, passed by yeas and nays as follow:
