A bill entitled, "An Act to amend the 31st section of ar
tide 26 of the Public General Laws entitled, 'Compora?-
tions,"
Endorsed, "rejected;"
A bill entitled, "An Act supplementary to the Act of
1865, chapter 203," making additional appropriation to the
Antietam National Cemetery;'
Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."
A bill entitled, "An Act to authorizo the Commissioners
of the town of Havre de Graca to sail certain lofcs in said
town ;"
Endorsed,' 'passed by yeas and nays with proposed amend-
ments:
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED:
Section 1, line 8, insert atfer the words "Harford county/'
the following: "And one newspaper in New Voids City,
Philadelphia and Baltimore."
In section 1, line 20, after the word "county," insert the
words: "And also in one newspaper published in the cities
of Baltimore, Philadelphia, and New York, for the same
length of time."
In Section 1, strike out all after the word "to" in line 35,
to the word "the" in the line 37, and insert the following:
"Invest the said funds in the bonds of the United States, or
bonds of this State, subject to the provisions of this bill."
Section 1, after the word "paying" in line 39, insert the
following: "Taxes and legal costs with twelve per cent.
per annum."
