Was read the second time and ordered to bo engrossed for
a third reading.
The bill entitled, an Act to repeal sections 10 and 11, of
the 37th Article, of the Code of Public General Laws, enti-
tled, "Evidence," and re-enact with amendments;
Was taken up for consideration on its second reading.
On motion of Mr. Pilkington,
The said bill was referred to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary.
The bill entitled, "An Act to araaadan Act to incorporate
the Western Maryland Railroad Company;"
Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
The Secretary of the Senate delivered the joint resolution
in reference to continuing the offise of Assistant Pravost
Marshal General;
Endorsed, "passed !by yeas and nays with proposed amend-
ment."
The proposed amendment was non-concurred in by yeas
