The enacting clause of said bill was stricken out;
The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Baltimore and
Havana steamship company,
Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill entitled, an act to authorize the South Baltimore
Company to hold land to the amount of five thousand acres,
and to increase its capital.
Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed
por a third reading.
The bill entitled, an Act to amend the charter of the Charles
Street Avenue company;
Was read the third time and rejected by yeas and nays
for want of the constitutional majority, as follow:
