The said bill was then sent to the Senate.,
The Senate bill entitled, an Act to amend the Act of 1860,
chapter 303, entitled, an Act to carry into effect the eighth
section of the Act entitled, an Act for the promotion of In-
ternal Improvements, passed at December session, 1835, by
applying a part of the appropriation made by said Act for the
purpose of internal improvements in Worcester county, to
the construction of the Wicomico and Pocomoke Railroad;
Was taken up for consideration.
On its third reading,
Mr. Holloway submitted the following amendment:
Amend by striking out the word "fifty," in section 1, line
4, between the words "of" and "thousand," and insert the
word "sixty;"
Which was accepted.
The bill as amended was then read the third time, and
passed by yeas and nays as follow:
