On motion of Mr. Jones,
Leave was granted the committee on Corporations, to re-
port a bill to incorporate the President and Directors of the
Monumental City Fire Insurance company.
On motion of Mr. Slothower,
Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary, to re-
port a bill for the' relief of William Watson, a Lunatic.
On motion of Mr. Barron,
Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary, to re-
port a bill entitled, an Act to add an additional section to
the Public Local Code, entitled '-'Baltimore city" to punish the
carrying of concealed Weapons.
On motion of Mr. Buhrman,
Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary, to re-
port a bill to repeal section 3, of article 93, of the .Code of
Public General Laws, entitled "Testamentary Laws," to come
in after section 328, of said article and to re-enact the same
with amendments,
Also, leave was granted the committee on Corporations, to
report a bill to incorporate the Hartford Fire Insurance com-
pany of Baltimore.
Mr. Poteet, from the committee on Claims, reported favor-
ably an Act to authorize the Clerk of the Superior court of
Baltimore city to pay to Thomas A. Kennard a sum of money
due him as Clerk in said office;
Which was read the first time.
Also, favorably a bill entitled, an Act to pay John Heinel-
haver a sum of money for services rendered in renewing and
enlarging the wall of the furnace of the record office; Fred-
erick Sasscer, Clerk of the Circuit court for Prince George
county; Oliver Wood, George E. Gambrill, R. Vinton Clay-
ton, Augustus Gassaway, and Peter Grain for professional
services.
Which was read the first time.
Also, favorably a bill entitled, an Act to appropriate a sum
of money to re-imburse ex-Governor A. W. Bradford for the
destruction of his private property by the rebels in July,
1864;
Which was read the first time.
Mr. Soper, from the committee on Ways and Means, re-
ported favorably a bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 412,
of article -1 of the Code of Public Local Laws for Baltimore
city, entitled Hay and Straw, and to re-enact with amend-
ment;
