1866.] OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES. 101 Leave was granted the committee on Ways and Means, to report a bill to pay Charles Quinlin, bounty due him, but withheld in consequence of not being on Muster-roll. On motion of Mr. Tull, The House adjourned. FRIDAY, January 19, 1866. The House met and was opened with prayer by the Rev. Mr. Hammond. Present at the call of the roll the following members. Messrs. Mr. Rider presented a petition from citizens of Holland's Island, and asking the passage of a law annexing said Island to Somerset county; Which was read and referred to the Somerset and Dorches- ter delegations. Mr. Jamison presented a petition from James Richardson praying permission to erect two gates across a public road in St. Mary's county; Which was read and referred to the St. Mary's and Charles counties counties delegations, |
