We have received your message proposing the appointment of a Joint committee to visit the Government House and take an inventory of the Furniture, &c., and concur therein. Wo have appointed on the part of the Senate, Messrs. Ohr, Eaton and Clarke. By Order, C. HARWOOD. Secretary, Also, joint resolutions relating to the appointment of Jus- tices of the Peace by Governor Bradford; Which were read the first time. Also, the following House bill: An act to incorporate Eureka Lodge No. 105 of Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons of Sharpsburg, in Washington county; Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays." Also, the following Senate bills: An act to incorporate the Allegany Vine Growing, Manu- facturing and Agricultural Association; Which was read the first time, and referred to the commit- tee on Corporations. An act to repeal sections 75, article 17, of the Public Local Laws, entitled Queen Anne's county; and section 1, article 17, of the supplements and re-enact the same with amendments. An act to empower the county Commissioners of Queen Anne's county to levy the Sum of $250 on the taxable proper- ty of the county, to pay J. G. Strong for 100 copies of a Map of said county, which he is about to publish -on the scale of one inch to the mile and which said copies are intended to be distributed among the public schools of this county. Which was read the first time and referred to the Queen Anne's county Delegation. A bill entitled, an Act to amend the Act of eighteen hun- dred and sixty. Chapter three hundred and three, entitled. an Act to carry into effect the eighth section of the Act en- titled, an Act for the promotion of internal improvements, passed at December session, eighteen hundred and thirty- |
