Mr. Willis, from the committee on Internal Improvements, reported favorably the bill entitled, an Act to repeal section thirty-eighth of Article twenty-eight, of the Code of Public Gen- eral Laws of the State of Maryland, and re-enact the same with amendment; Which was read the first time. The Speaker announced Messrs. Valliant, Buhrman, Pilk- ington, Smith of Dorchester, and Darling, as a Select com- mittee on the apprentice laws. Mr. Rinehart, from Select committee, reported favorably the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate a company to build a Turnpike Road from Union Bridge in Carroll county to Unionville, Frederick county. Which was read the first time. On motion of Mr. Rinehart, It was recommitted to the Select committee. Mr. Cronise, from Select committee, reported favorably the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate Eureka Lodge, number one hundred and five, of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Sharpsburg, in Washington county; Which was read the first time, And by unanimous consent the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. On motion of Mr. Cronise, The rules were suspended, and by special order the bill was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follow:
