Mr. Wells, from the committee on Judicial Proceedings to which was referred the following bills; A bill to require the County Commissioners of Frederick county to levy a sum of money to bull bridges over the Mona- cacy river; A bill to repeal section 310 of article 11 of Local Laws of Frederick county; A bill to repeal section 125, 126. 127, 128 and 129 of article 20 of Local Laws relating to Roads in Talbot county; A bill to prohibit the issuing of any license to sell liquor within three miles of the churches in the village of Wolfsford, Frederick county; A bill to prevent the sale of liquor near the line of the Washington county Railroad; Reported them without amendment; And they were read. the second time. Mr. Clarke from the committee on Judicial Proceedings to which was referred the bill to provide for the better collection and disbursement of taxes in Allegany county; Reported it without amendment. Said bill was read the second time and ordered to be en- grossed for a third reading. Mr. Clarke from the committee on Judicial Proceedings re- ported joint resolutions instructing the Libraian to purchase a book on the course of proceedings by H. D. Eveans; Which was read the first time; and referred to the com- mittee on Finance. The clerk of the House of Delegates returned the follow- ing bills: A bill in favor of Whitney, Medairy and company. A bill to incorporate the Free and Accepted Masons. A bill to incorporate the Maryland Fuel company. A bill to incorporate the Patent Prepared Food company. A bill to incorporate the Allegany Vine Growing com- pany of Allegany county. A bill to incorporate the county Commissioners of Queen Ann's county, to purchase a map. |
