mance of said work as are now allowed by law for
such service and to collect the same in the manner
now allowed, and that to enable him to perform
such work, the said administrator shall have such
access to the books, records and papers in said
office as may be necessary for that purpose.


Sec. 2. And be it further enacted. That the time
allowed to said administrator by law to collect, all
fees already due for work done in said office be and
the same is hereby extended to the first day of
January, eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, to be
collected in the usual way.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage

CHAPTER 341.


AN ACT supplementary to an Act entitled, "an
Act to provide for the General Valuation and
Assessment of property in this State "passed at
the Extra-Session of the General Assembly, in
the year, eighteen hundred and sixty-six, chap-
ter one hundred and fifty-seven.

Passed Mar.
21, 1867.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the several assessors now ap-
pointed, who have failed to complete the assess-
ment of property within their respective assessment
district as required by law, be and they are hereby
authorized and empowered to proceed forthwith to
complete the same, within the time hereinafter
limited for the completion thereof, and according
to the direction of the Act, to which this is a sup-
plement, except in so far as the said Act may be
inconsistent, or in conflict with the provisions of
this Act.
